COMMENTS: The film tells the story of a famous musician who meets a young girl whose dream it is to become a famous singer. He falls in love with her, marries her and helps her to become popular and successful. However, because of the stressful life and demands of a famous musician he uses substances to keep him going, but he is addicted to alcohol. He embarrasses and disappoints his wife and other family members as well as himself and he goes to rehab. His wife supports him all the way and shows her unconditional love to him. When he get out from rehab, she wants him to start singing again, but her manager refuses to take the risk of him embarrassing her again and hurts her reputation. When the manager confronts him and tells him how an embarrassment he is, he commits suicide and leaves his wife without the love of her life. She honours his memory by singing a song for him at her last show.

The themes in the film are mature and complex, including music, love, addiction and its consequences, fame, implied suicide, low self-esteem, unconditional love and sorrow, which could be disturbing, upsetting and confusing to children under 16 who are impressionable and vulnerable to issues of addiction, suicide and sorrow.
