COMMENTS: The Harvester is a film that follows the lives of an Afrikaans cattle farming family, with strong Afrikaner and Christian values, that take in a teenage boy, Pieter, that has lost his family with the hopes of rehabilitating him from his drug habit. The eldest son, Janno, is tasked with taking care of Pieter, showing him around and including him in farming and recreational activites.
